Exceptionally well written and thoroughly entertaining for young readers ages 8 to 12, 'The Mardi Gras Chase' is very highly recommended for school and community library collections.

Encore, Maggie Larche! My 8-year-old son really loved this book as well as the other Striker Jones book. I hope Ms. Larche writes others.

I'm not sure I've ever read a book for this age group that so successfully and effortlessly blends complications, action, switcheroos, and split-second timing... This is just fun, ripping, smart stuff and it seems to me it would be a real treat for a confident young reader.

This is another great book from a very talented writer. My son loved this one as much as the first, and he has read it at least 5 times. Keep 'em coming!

True girl, with true friends, taking on real life the best way she knows how! I already have my fingers crossed that there will be another True Girls book coming out soon. What can I say? I love them, my daughter loves them, it's a book that families can really get together with.

Fun detective fiction for kids! We discovered Striker Jones when it was a Kickstarter project, and my daughter really enjoyed it. She devours detective stories like Cam Jansen, Encyclopedia Brown, etc., and I think she liked Striker Jones just as much. Fun book!

Once again creative author Maggie Larche proves that middle grade readers (and younger) are up to solving mysteries, analyzing economics, and picking up on clues in a fun and rollicking series that has some heart and group ethics at the core of the story.

A wonderful combination of fast-paced action and school-based humour with a cast of endearing young characters. Charlie Bingham Gets Serious is seriously funny.

The book is simply unputdownable--my daughter had the (kindle) book by her side at all times until she finished it!

The story has great themes, such as the value of friendship, little sisters, and having a little mystery in our lives. It was a fun, easy read with great characters, fun adventure, and rewarding mystery.

The Mardi Gras Chase is an amazing middle-grade mystery! The team is likeable and spunky, the kind of girls we’d want our daughters to befriend.

We just finished the book and my 8 year old wanted to write a review. Here it is: 'The best book in the world. The mystery was really fun. I recommend it for kids 6 - 9. I can't wait for the next one in the series.'

This author is great for writing books with great story lines with a little bit of romance and suspense. I got super emotional towards the end and I was so proud of the characters.

The author wove a beautiful little mystery into this lovely story about friendships, overcoming grief, and family love. The characters are all so endearing and kind. It seems like so many children's books today are filled with sassy kids and unwitting adults; but this book is different.

While this story is very much about being enterprising and adapting to new situations, where it shines is in its depictions of friendship and teamwork. Jenna receives invaluable help from many different sources in order to get her idea off the ground, including a couple of people she wasn't expecting. This sends a very good message to any kids who might read this book.
